27-08-2026How I Learned to Love Reading
A B1-level reading about discovering a love of books, combined with practice on present perfect, relative clauses, and second conditional.Lượt xem: 11 Nguồn: Daisy Việt
When I was younger, I never enjoyed reading. I found books boring, and I always preferred watching TV instead. However, everything changed two years ago when my aunt gave me a novel for my birthday.
At first, I only read a few pages a day. But the story was so exciting that I couldn't stop. It was a book about a girl who traveled through time to save her village. I have read that book three times since then, and I still love it.
After I finished it, I started looking for more books like it. If I didn't have that book, I would probably still dislike reading today. Now, I have read more than fifty books, and my vocabulary has improved a lot.

Reading has also helped me in other ways. If I have a difficult day, I will read a chapter before bed to feel calmer. My teachers have noticed that my writing has become clearer, too.
I believe that anyone who gives reading a real chance will eventually find a book that changes their life, just like mine did.
