A Rainy Day at Home

Yesterday, it rained all day, so I stayed at home. At first, I felt bored because I couldn't play outside with my friends.

Then, I decided to do something fun. I read a storybook, and later, I helped my mother bake a cake. The kitchen smelled sweeter than a candy shop!

In the afternoon, my father and I played chess by the window. We watched the rain fall while we played. It was more relaxing than I expected.

Even though it was a rainy day, it became one of my favorite days this month.
