My Neighbor's Noisy Parrot

My neighbor, Mrs. Hoa, has a green parrot named Coco. Coco is louder than any bird on our whole street, and he loves talking all day long.

Last Sunday morning, I was sleeping when I suddenly heard a strange voice outside. Someone was shouting "Good morning!" again and again. I got up and looked out the window. It was Coco, sitting on Mrs. Hoa's balcony!

While Mrs. Hoa was watering her plants, Coco kept copying her words. When she said "Beautiful flowers," Coco repeated it perfectly. It was funnier than any cartoon on TV.

Mrs. Hoa told me that she taught Coco new words every week. She said parrots could learn faster than most people expected, especially if you repeated the same words often.

Sometimes Coco's noise is annoying, especially early in the morning. However, the whole street thinks Coco is more interesting than a normal pet. Children often stop by just to hear him talk.

I must admit, even though Coco is noisy, our small street feels much livelier because of him.
