What is Phở?

Phở is a famous food in Vietnam. It is a noodle soup. Many people eat Phở for breakfast, but you can eat it at any time of the day.

Phở has a few simple parts. There are soft rice noodles, hot broth, and meat. The meat is usually beef or chicken. The broth smells wonderful because it has ginger, onion, and other spices inside.

When you eat Phở, you can add fresh herbs like basil and mint. You can also add a little lime juice and chili for more flavor. Some people like their Phở very spicy, but some people like it mild.

Last weekend, my family visited Ha Noi. We tried Phở at a small restaurant near the Old Quarter. The soup was hot and delicious. My little sister ate two whole bowls!

Phở is not just food — it is a big part of Vietnamese culture. If you visit Vietnam, you must try a bowl of Phở.
