My Favorite Teacher

My name is Lan. I am ten years old, and I am in grade four. My favorite teacher is Ms. Hoa. She teaches English at my school.

Ms. Hoa is tall and kind. She has long black hair and a big smile. Every morning, she stands at the classroom door and says, "Good morning, everyone!" We always say, "Good morning, Ms. Hoa!"

Her lessons are never boring. She sings songs with us, and we play word games. Sometimes we draw pictures of animals and write their names in English. I love the games because they are fun, and I learn new words quickly.

Ms. Hoa is very patient. When I make a mistake, she does not get angry. She smiles and helps me try again. She always says, "Mistakes help us learn."

Last week, I was sick, so I stayed at home. Ms. Hoa sent me a short note. It said, "Get well soon, Lan. We miss you!" I was very happy.

I want to be a teacher like Ms. Hoa one day. I want to help children learn and make them smile.
