Ten Minutes for Drawing

I like pictures, but my drawings are very simple. Every afternoon, I sit at my desk for ten minutes. I open my notebook and choose one thing to draw.

On Monday, I draw a cup. On Tuesday, I draw my shoe. Today, I draw a leaf from our garden. I look at its shape first. Then I use my pencil. I do not need many colours.

My sister can draw beautiful animals. Sometimes, she sits next to me. She shows me her pictures, and I show her mine. My leaf is not perfect. That is fine.

I write the date under each picture. My notebook is special to me. It has small things from my day, and every page is different.
