My Pet Dog

I have a pet dog. His name is Max. He is three years old. Max has brown fur and a short tail. He is not very big, but he is very strong.

Every morning, I take Max for a walk in the park near my house. He loves running and chasing birds. He also likes playing with a small yellow ball. In the afternoon, I give him food and clean water.

Max is a very friendly dog. He likes children, and he never barks at strangers. My neighbors often say hello to him when we walk past their houses.

Last Saturday, something funny happened. Max jumped into a small pond in the park! He got very wet and dirty. I had to give him a bath as soon as we got home. He did not like the bath at all.

I love Max very much. He is not just a pet — he is a true member of our family.
