My Busy Saturday

Today is Saturday. It is nine o'clock in the morning, and everyone in my family is busy.

My mom is in the kitchen. She is cooking noodle soup for lunch. It smells delicious! My dad is in the garden. He is watering the plants and cutting the grass.

My sister, Linh, is in the living room. She is practicing the piano. She has a concert next week, so she practices every day.

And me? I am at my desk. I am writing an email to my pen pal, Emma. She lives in Australia. I am telling her about my school and my friends.

Our cat, Mun, isn't busy. She is sleeping on the sofa in the sunshine. She sleeps all day on Saturdays!

In the afternoon, we usually go to the park together. Saturday is my favorite day of the week.
