A Weekend Picnic with My Family
Speed:

Last weekend, my family did something different. Instead of staying home like every other Sunday, we decided to have a picnic at a small lake near our house.

My mother prepared sandwiches, fresh fruit, and cold juice the night before. My father brought a football and a badminton set, and my little sister brought her favorite toys and a few storybooks. We packed everything into the car early in the morning before the sun got too hot.

When we arrived at the lake, the weather was cooler than we expected, but the sky was clear and blue. We spread a large blanket under a big tree and ate our breakfast there. Surprisingly, the food tasted better outside than it usually did at home.

After breakfast, my father and I played football on the grass while my mother and sister fed the ducks near the edge of the lake. My sister laughed loudly every time a duck came close and tried to eat from her hand.

Later, some other families arrived with their own picnic baskets, and the area became more crowded than before. Even so, everyone stayed friendly, and a few children joined my sister to play by the water.

In the afternoon, we took a lot of photos together before packing up to leave. Everyone was relaxed and happy on the way home. I think family picnics are more special than any other weekend activity we usually do.
